ZEN Rooms Pasay Airport Road

Fairly close to the airport, and mostly clean, though black soot fell from the ceiling onto the bed. A gentleman helped us carry one bag up all five flights, since the room is on the fifth floor and there’s no elevator. We could make our own coffee from the few dishes provided. The street is busy, the entrance is hard to find, and traffic noise was constant at night, with sirens and horns right below the window. The bathroom is tiny, about 1x1 meter by my estimate. The toilet and shower are so close together, with no curtain, that one person can’t use the toilet while another showers. There’s no bathroom vent, so you have to open the window, but then the A/C’s hot air comes back inside. It also took three hours to cool the room and blows straight onto the bed. Breakfast was a cold, hard egg with cold toast and a cold piece of sausage. McDonald's does better. This place cost too much for what it was. We could have stayed at Red Planet for almost the same price and distance.
