Khotel near T3 Airport

We stayed overnight before our flight the next day, and the deluxe room was clean and comfortable, with no bedbugs. The staff were lovely and helpful, and the price for that room is hard to beat. The WiFi kept cutting in and out, but I had my own data to use. It’s less than a five-minute drive to Terminal 3, and Grab was easy to get. Newport Mall is a six-minute walk away. There’s also a wet market nearby and busy streets.

I booked a short overnight stay before a morning flight. Terminal 3 is nearby, though the hotel is tucked at the end of a narrow road and isn’t easy to spot. Grab drivers handled both trips well, and each ride cost just $2 to $3. There’s no elevator to the second floor, but the kind staff carried my heavy suitcase up and down. The flimsy contraption holding it had completely fallen apart by morning. The room was clean, with no odors or bedbugs. The balcony door wouldn’t open, although the window did. The air conditioning worked well, but the Panasonic water heater barely made the water lukewarm. McDonalds, Kentucky Fried and other restaurants are within a five-minute walk, and there’s a pharmacy nearby too.

The room was cheap and near the airport, and there’s a nice local feel outside, but not much else around. The air conditioning struggled to cool the room, and the WiFi didn’t work.

The room had what I needed, including towels, and the air conditioning was strong. The front desk was very friendly when we arrived at midnight and left early in the morning. Nice location, close to the airport, and nothing to complain about.
