Lascianos SMDC Shore Residences by RedDoorz

My trip was badly disrupted by this host. They never showed up for check-in, leaving me waiting in the reception lobby for over five hours. Their customer service only sent robotic replies and didn’t solve anything. I then had to call Booking.com internationally in London at my own expense. They couldn’t tell me for 24 hours whether the cancellation fees would be waived, and asked if I still wanted to cancel while things were uncertain. Anxious and with no real alternative, I cancelled. After that five-hour wait and frustrating call, I had to find and book somewhere else at the last minute. The host hasn’t apologized or offered any compensation. From the no-show and unhelpful responses to the silence afterward, this was completely unacceptable. It was the worst accommodation experience I can imagine and wrecked my travel plans. I strongly advise against booking through this host if you want to avoid the same distress.
