Max Stays Max Style at Parkside Villas

I rented through an agent and found out I'd been scammed. He took off with my electricity bill, so our power was cut, even though I was pregnant. We contacted the owner, who turned out to be the same person, and he asked us for more money to cover the remaining balance. He said he didn't want to know about my problems with the agent. The agent ignored our messages and the owner's too. While we were on the phone, the owner spoke the local language with the security guard and wouldn't let us leave until we paid. It was upsetting that the guard seemed to trust a local person over an outsider, even though I had proof. For what it's worth, that local person doesn't live in PH. I think the room was 5J, unit F. The living room AC was broken or inactive from the day we moved in. We paid everything and left because we didn't want to deal with it anymore. The room was awful, with lots of cockroaches, and the service was bad all around. I don't recommend it.
