Mye Tourist Inn

I felt really cared for here. I got in very late, but the receptionists were still up and welcomed me warmly. They even helped when my taxi driver tried to rip me off. The next morning I had to leave early, and they were awake again to make sure I was all right. I felt safe and would recommend OYO 808 Mye Tourist Inn.

Poor management. When we arrived, the owner said our booking had been cancelled because of a misunderstanding between him and Agoda, something we knew nothing about. He said he would mark us as a “no show” so he could process a refund, even though we were standing right there at the hotel. How were we supposed to trust that? He wasn't helpful at all. Don't book here!

Worst experience ever. I'd booked online and told them we'd arrive around 10-11 pm, then updated them when our flight was delayed and said we'd be there around 11 pm to midnight. I was traveling with my child. When we got there, they said the booking was cancelled because we hadn't paid them yet, and that they only accept guests until 9 pm. My son and I were left outside in the middle of the night trying to find another hotel. If I could give this place a negative five, I would.

I'd booked through Booking and told them I had a night flight and expected to arrive around 1-2 am. They confirmed the reservation. But after a long spell of banging on the door, I was told they'd cancelled it because they only accept arrivals until 5 pm. They knew I was coming late, so failing to tell me was completely unprofessional. I was left on the street in Manila at 1 am, looking for somewhere to stay. Thanks so much.
