The sauna and pool were both great, and the room felt cozy with all the amenities we needed. We also enjoyed the wide breakfast selection at Marriott Cafe. Check-in was the frustrating part, there was a long queue and I wish they’d had more staff. Still, we enjoyed our stay at Manila Marriott, as we usually do.

The people at Marriott Café were a big part of what made us look forward to every meal. Charity, RJ, Danilo, Marie, and Sheanry were kind and attentive, and made us feel at home as first-time visitors. Dixie brought that same warmth and thoughtfulness to the Executive Lounge, making it feel special without losing its genuine feel. The hotel was comfortable, welcoming, and beautiful, with consistently amazing food. Our first trip to the Philippines couldn’t have gone better thanks to this team. The whole stay felt easy and comforting, and we’re already looking forward to returning. Marriott Manila will be our first choice.

The location made the stay especially convenient, since it’s close to the airport. Our West Wing Premier room was huge, clean, and felt worthy of a 5-star stay. The pool and gym were well kept and really nice, and the staff were attentive and accommodating throughout. We also enjoyed the buffet variety. I’d definitely recommend it and stay again.

The West Wing rooftop pool was the standout for me. It’s lovely during the day and gorgeous at night. There’s also a smaller gym up there and a smaller spa with a sauna and wet steam room, though the steam room was too hot to sit in without a towel. Down on the 2nd floor, the pool is spacious and has a kiddies pool, plus a bar open until 6pm. The larger gym and separate Female and Male Spas there are better appointed than the West Wing facilities. The Swedish dry sauna and wet steam room can each fit at least 15 people, and there are spa facilities, bathrooms, showers, and a vanity area. We didn’t get to explore much, but we heard about the Bakery, Cafe, and buffet lunches and dinners. We did find the West Wing and the Art Gallery Hallway connecting to it, with impressive Filipino artworks. The location is excellent, close to the airport, Newport mall, Casino, and the hotel facilities. Staff were attentive, especially Jim at the ‘At Your Service’ desk. Our room had a horrible chemical or cleaning agent smell that wouldn’t go away after hours, and Jim went above and beyond to move us. The replacement room was closer to our kids and to another lift that went straight to the Ground floor Marriott Cafe and bakery and 2nd floor Pool and Gym. He even sent a fruit plate with compliments. What service! Fantastic stay in a very amenable hotel.
