Selah Garden Hotel Manila

The Selah Garden Hotel felt like home, and I was very happy with our stay. I brought my family here from Toronto canada, and the service was great. The staff were all polite and kind, making sure we had what we needed. The place is lovely and relaxing, and pool staff were always nearby watching over swimmers. I’d recommend this hotel as one of the best places to stay. Calling my friends and relatives 😊 Come and experience “the Selah garden hotel”!

It’s about a 7 minute drive to SM Moa and near NAIA airport, though the road to the resort is narrow, with people walking and kids playing. When there’s a convention or school outing, big buses can cause traffic, and students were noisy in the corridor, ringing our doorbell while our 6 month old was asleep. That wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but it wasn’t good for our family. We had four nights on the third floor. There’s an elevator, and staff helped carry our things up. Check-in and checkout were quick. They took 1000php at check-in and returned it at checkout. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked nice and lots of guests used it at night. We didn’t try the food either. The room was okay, spacious and air conditioned, with a fridge, glasses, a pitcher, shampoo, conditioner, soap, towels, and two pillows. There was only a blanket, no duvet. The place also has a lift.

The pool needs clearer depth markings or more lighting, since some uneven parts are hard to see and could be unsafe. Dinner was disappointing too. The room setup also wasn’t what we’d agreed to: we expected three people in one room, but ended up with ten people, men and women together, and just one shared bathroom. We hope these issues can be addressed for future guests. I’d read negative reviews beforehand but decided to overlook them. Looking back, the visit was disappointing. (P.S. if you're on a low budget and trying to save, this might do, but don't expect too much.)

The staff were great and quick to help, and our room was clean and comfortable. Parking really isn’t very spacious, as others have said. It’s a bit far from the town center and public transport, though getting a Grab or taxi is easy. We didn’t try the food or buffet, but I HIGHLY recommend the massage place just above 7’11!! Best massage we’ve had in years, plus a surprise finale stretch 😆 🫶
