On April 26 I had a chat with the manager, Dani. She was really nice and took time to connect, which you don’t get everywhere. She even gave me an ensaymada 😭. Such a small gesture, but it made me feel appreciated. The one downside was that the heated pool was closed for rehab, so I couldn’t use it. Still, the hotel felt well cared for despite its classic look, and my room was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Check-in went smoothly. Front Desk KD and Jigs were super welcoming and easy to talk to, which made the whole process effortless. The staff felt genuine and clearly cared about guests. It was a really good stay at Richmonde Hotel Ortigas, and I’d come back.

Coach Rey made the workout for me. He was hands-on and attentive, took the time to fix my form, and showed me how to use the equipment properly. The session itself was excellent, and I had a great experience at the Richmonde Hotel Gym. The pool was a bit disappointing since it’s closed for rehabilitation, but the other wellness facilities made up for it. I had a blast relaxing in the sauna and steam room after exercising. Great coaching and amenities, and I’m looking forward to returning once the upgraded pool is ready.

The hotel looks a bit old, but it’s well maintained and still feels classy. The room was clean, the sheets were comfortable, and the atmosphere was relaxing. I only wish the pillows were a little bulkier. When the toilet was difficult to flush, help arrived in less than 5 minutes. My wife and I had a great stay at Richmonde Hotel Ortigas. The guards greeted us with warm smiles when we arrived at the lobby, and check-in was quick. Staff were courteous and accommodating, and helped us up to our room right away. You get what you pay for. Since it was the month of Ramadhan, the hotel kindly let us have breakfast packed at 4 AM. It’s truly Muslim-friendly. There are also separate prayer rooms for males and females on the 4th floor. I’d recommend the hotel and would gladly stay here again.

UPDATE: The issue has been successfully resolved. I’m sincerely grateful to the Richmonde leadership team, especially Danica Catindig, the Front Office Manager. She handled it with genuine care and the utmost professionalism. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! We’d long thought of Richmonde Hotel Ortigas as our “home away from home” because we felt secure and comfortable there. But our stay on Jan 24-25 badly shook that trust. My wife accidentally left her AirPods 4 on the bedside table in Room 2104. I understand that we were careless, but the digital trail is clear. On Jan 26, the Find My app showed the AirPods were still at the hotel. Now the device is at a specific residential address: 1st Street, San Roque, Dasmariñas, Cavite. It hasn’t moved since we reported it. It’s disappointing that housekeeping couldn’t find it. We felt an internal cross-check of employee addresses or a courtesy call to the guest who checked in after us was warranted, and hoped for a resolution that would restore confidence in the lost-and-found process. Other one-star reviews describe the same story, and it’s happened before. It’s happening again. It’s more fun in the Philippines!
