Shorestop Inn And Restaurant

Wouldn't recommend it. For what it costs and where it is, the Inn feels below average. I've stayed somewhere cheaper in downtown Tuguegarao, at Holiday Plaza Hotel, and in Sta. Ana, Cagayan, at Costelo Lodge, and both were better value. The videoke was still loud past 10pm. I couldn't sleep, even though I planned to leave at 5am.

The restaurant was a letdown too. On our first night, hardly anything on the menu was available, and there were no soft drinks either night. The second night there was no food to choose from, just four tiny pieces of chicken with rice, so I left hungry. Breakfast was much the same both days: the first morning, one egg and a small deep-fried hotdog, with no juice or coffee; the next, a small, shriveled sausage instead of the hotdog. If you're on a diet, eat here. The room was poorly supplied and not looked after. We got one small, thin sheet and two small towels, with no shampoo. When we came back on day two, it hadn't been cleaned and dead bugs were all over the floor. They refused to give us clean towels, and said they had no blankets when we asked. The cheap air conditioner was very noisy, and ants got into the bathroom and bit our feet. Shorestop Inn, you're a fake resort. Buy food for the restaurant and clean the rooms for your guests. Get some sheets, blankets, towels, soap, shampoo, face cloths, and maybe bug spray too. I usually leave a 20$ U.S. bill as a tip, but it wasn't deserved this time. I kept it to buy real food down the road.
