The villa’s location was convenient, and we were welcomed warmly, but the stay had too many problems. Even after renting a large villa, we had to pay an extra fee to use the pool. Some pools connect from higher levels down to the children’s pool, which made us worry about hygiene. The pathways were also confusing. In the villa, the air conditioning took a long time to cool, and one unit had an exposed filter. There were no cleaning tools, so the floors got quite dirty by day two. The sheets smelled clean but felt itchy and uncomfortable. We don’t recommend it for family gatherings or occasions. The name “Poracay” sounds like Boracay and set high expectations, but our experience didn’t live up to them. It was very disappointing.

The property itself is nice, but that’s where the positives end for me. Our villa had no toilet paper or other toiletries, and a loud booming noise outside went on for hours, giving us headaches and making it hard to enjoy our stay. When our party size changed, we needed a different villa. Other places have handled that smoothly, but here the change felt as inconvenient as possible. I don’t plan to return.

It’s a great place, though kind of far away. Mobile reception was the main issue, since the signal wasn’t very good.

The atmosphere is nice, but unfortunately there were a lot of flies in the room.

The pool was clean, but the shower wasn’t very good and the toilet wasn’t clean either. Maybe a guest left the poop there and didn’t flush. Please make sure someone checks, so the next guest isn’t put off. Cleanliness matters most.
