I picked this place for the space and quiet, and as a woman traveling alone I felt safe. There’s a guard and a family runs the property. The room was clean and spacious, the pool was nice, and the smart TV was useful since I stayed almost a week. Good value for the money. They arranged everything for me, including breakfast, airport transfers and rides into town. One downside: breakfast was always 10-30 minutes late, and it starts at 7, which is tight if your tour begins at 8. Town is around 20-30 minutes away. Tricycles charge 200-300 each way, so plan those trips or rent a ride.

The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly. It’s very quiet here, and I thought the stay was worth it. The hotel is a little outside the city, but getting there by scooter is an easy drive.

Our group of eight felt warmly welcomed at Villa Marilyn Resort. The staff were hospitable, and the 24/7 security gave us peace of mind and privacy. It’s a quiet spot because it’s a bit away from the main town, which suited us well. We’d book here again, 10/10.

The owners looked after me when I was sick and alone, even driving me around and making dinner for me. I’ve never had such caring service, and I’d highly recommend staying here. The rooms were lovely, spacious and clean, with Netflix included. The bed was comfortable too.

We visited in the off-season, so the huge resort was almost empty. The Wi-Fi was great, and there was a smart TV. It’s about a 10-minute motorcycle ride to the city, and not many places deliver food there. If it rains, it’s better to have some food on hand for emergencies.
