Villa Khadine Grandvista Resort

The natural setting is lovely, and the place could have incredible potential if someone invested in it. As it is, though, it feels like its good years were about a decade ago, with facilities so run-down that the whole property seems abandoned. The pool looked like a mosquito breeding spot and seemed not to have been cleaned in ages. There are also strict hours for using it. In the room, the shower sticks out of the wall right above the toilet, a detail missing from the Booking photos, and the water was cold. There was no Wi-Fi in the room either. It wouldn’t have been an expensive stay, but it wasn’t very enjoyable. Finding ants in the bed was the last straw, and we checked out early.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the location is beautiful. Getting into town takes a tricycle or scooter, though, since it’s too far to walk. Our standard room was tiny, with no room for luggage, and there was no Wi-Fi in the room. The equipment needs repairs: the toilet seat was broken, the clothes hangers weren’t fixed securely, and the ventilator was loose. The air conditioner was loud, and turning it off meant unplugging it. The plug itself was loose, so we had to wedge the cable in when plugging it back.

The Cabana was a quiet, private and romantic place for my partner and me, set in a lovely garden in a peaceful part of Coron. The resort also arranged our tours, with pickup right there, which made things really convenient. The staff were warm and provided amazing service. They were easy to reach on WhatsApp and kindly arranged whatever I needed. I had a lovely stay at Villa Khadine and would happily return on my next visit to Coron. Highly recommend it for the friendly service.

The natural surroundings are really lovely, and the staff were accommodating face to face. The pool was dirty when we arrived, but they cleaned it after we asked. It should have been ready before guests came. The bathroom sink was leaking too. We booked the honeymoon villa for five days but stayed four because our flight was canceled. They refused to refund the unused night. There was no phone signal, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work inside the room, which was a problem since I needed to work. I had to go out to the common area. I tried calling the staff, but got no answer.
