This was the worst place we stayed during our week of backpacking. We seemed to be the only guests, and it looked abandoned and poorly maintained. Maybe the typhoon had affected it and it was being renovated, but there was no service. Small dried bits of poop fell from the roof onto the bed, and the room was so damp that we had to pack damp clothes. It also looked nothing like the official photos, though maybe it did before. The toilet and shower were rough. The toilet wouldn’t refill for up to 30 minutes, though it did refill overnight. There was nowhere to hang towels or toiletries, so we had to put clean clothes on the toilet. The synthetic towels didn’t dry us properly, and the drinking water ran out.

The place is secluded from the city, which I liked, and the staff were great. Every night they checked in at our room to see if everything was okay or if we needed anything. When my motorbike had a problem, they quickly found someone to fix it. They also let us use a bigger, more comfortable room at no extra charge because it hadn’t been booked.

We booked two nights, but after about ten minutes there we decided to leave. The beds and surfaces were covered in what looked like rat or mouse droppings, and the place seemed abandoned, with broken things and garbage lying around. The pool was murky and very green. We all got a strange feeling as soon as we arrived, and as a woman I didn’t feel safe. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Good place to stay in Coron, with a pool and good service.

The atmosphere was lovely, and everything was very clean. The staff were friendly, and we especially enjoyed the pool. Rooms are cozy and work well for couples.
