Bamboo House Beach Lodge & Restaurant

I first visited in 2012 and came back in 2025. It was just as good as I remembered, maybe even better. The place is serene and relaxing, with comfort for anyone hoping to unplug. The staff are lovely and attentive. Breakfast has both Filipino and Continental options, which was a nice touch. There's an extensive menu for lunch and dinner, and both the food and service were excellent.

We had a lovely stay, and the staff were helpful in all sorts of ways. The place is beautiful too. There were so many of us that it felt like we had our own private beach and the whole place to ourselves. It's a long way from White Beach, but you can rent a motorbike or take a toktok to get around. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a break and some time to unwind.

Bamboo House Lodge is peaceful and beautiful, with a sea view right in front of the property. It's far from White Beach, but you can get a tuktuk to the Port or White Beach. The room was just okay, and the shower wasn't working, though that's fine for what we paid. The staff were super friendly, and we enjoyed the evening massage. Luca’s Cucina is nearby. I'd definitely return or recommend it to friends.

The staff's hospitality made a strong impression on me. They were friendly, sincere, and attentive, and I had a relaxing stay. The hotel sits beside a quiet cape, away from the bustle, and the rooms, restaurant, and shared spaces were all clean. You can go straight into the ocean, have a swim, and head back to your room to change. The shower pressure is low, but it wasn't a serious issue for me since sweat isn't much of a concern in the dry season.
