I was meant to stay for three days and two nights, but I left without staying there at all. The room looked lovely in the booking photo, then I saw it in person: run-down, filthy, and clearly not maintained. There was a hole in the roof, the bathroom was tiny, and there were no cabinets. I wanted a relaxing vacation and asked for a full refund, then at least 50% since I wouldn't be using the room. They refused and gave excuses. The manager showed no consideration, even though the place is falling apart. I'm sharing my awful experience with casa aviara. If I could take back that one star, I would. Please avoid CASA AVIARA if you want to enjoy your time in puerto galera.
10/10
It's a two-minute walk to the shore, which makes the location worthwhile. The place is new, and one part still feels a bit provincial, but the building next door looks modern.
8/10
A quiet, relaxing spot close to the beach. Decent place to check in.
2/10
Disgusting place. You'd think you'd catch a disease there.
