I stayed about a week and found the staff friendly and the service great. Thanks, Miriam! The rooms are decent for the price. Mine only had a fan and got a little hot, though you can pay extra for AC. It’s between Puerto Galera and Sabang. You can walk, but renting a scooter or taking a toktok makes getting around easier. A few nice restaurants are within walking distance, and Sabang is a short drive away, with most of the attractions like scuba diving, the beach, and downtown. The road is close enough that you hear traffic. There’s a pool, but mosquitoes are around in the evenings, and it could use pool loungers. A pretty good choice on a budget.

The pool was the highlight for me, exceptionally clean and well maintained. The rooms are super clean too, and the service is very friendly. The location makes it easy to get to both Puerto Galera and Sabang. It’s right beside the road and can be noisy, but the raised bungalows and pool area still feel private and cozy.

There isn’t much within walking distance, and without a motorbike you’ll pay 150 each way for a tricycle. You also have to wait for one on the highway. We found a room in town for a few pesos less, with everything, and that would save on the rides too. For 1500 a night, I don’t think this is worth it. There was no Wi-Fi, and the pool was so hot from having no shade that it felt like a big hot tub. I hoped it might cool down in the morning, but it was still hot. Definitely not a pool I’d use. Stay here only if you’re on a tight budget and don’t need internet. If you like walking everywhere and a very hot pool, maybe it’s for you. 😂
