The 110 steps up to the place got tiring after a full day out in the hot sun, though the view and the adorable one-eyed cat made the climb feel less bad. I booked through Traveloka for Php 3,012.02 for three days, which seemed like a steal at first. The staff were friendly and accommodating, but it seemed they were all new and hadn’t had proper training. We also found some things in our room that we thought had been left by earlier guests. The price is low, but I at least expected a clean bathroom. If I booked again, I’d choose somewhere nicer, even if it cost more. Would I return? No. I’d suggest it only to someone on a really tight budget. If you can pay a bit extra for convenience and a clean bathroom, stay somewhere else.

The owner and staff were really friendly, and the room and balconies had a lovely view. The accommodation is well located and very reasonably priced. There are steps to get there, but if you’re not fat or lazy, you won’t have a problem.

The view was great, and the accommodation was clean, neat, and acceptable. Getting there is a hassle, though, with something like 70 stairs to climb.

Getting from the harbor to the hotel means walking along routes that can’t really be called sidewalks, then climbing more than 100 stairs at the end. 😒
