The staff were kind and accommodating. They even called our room when the food was ready. The dishes were delicious and we enjoyed eating here, though they were a bit pricey. Our room was clean and simple, and for what we paid I’d say it was worth it. It could use some renovations, though. The ceiling light needs a cover, some electrical outlets need fixing, the toilet and shower could be upgraded, and a few light switches didn’t work.

The service was completely unacceptable. Despite booking a room ahead of time, we were told to take a different room that wasn’t on our booking because they had given ours to someone who arrived earlier.

The room was an okay size, and the staff were fairly accommodating. The hot water was a relief, though the water supply was interrupted at times. The air conditioning was poor, and the stand fan they gave us was too noisy. Wifi only worked in the lobby and didn’t reach the room. They stopped us bringing alcohol inside, yet served a foreigner a bottle of beer and let another guest buy beer and bring it in. The toilet overflowed every time I flushed, and we were glad we’d brought our own toilet paper. There were cobwebs here and there too. I know it’s a one star hotel, but there’s a lot they could improve. I’m not going back or recommending it.

The only decent thing was the wifi at reception. We left after two nights, even though the plan had been to stay seven days. One night was more than enough, but we had to stay for two. The rooms were dirty and in poor condition. Ants crawled all over the walls, and the bathroom door in room 205 wouldn’t even close. Noise from other guests carried through because there was no insulation around the doors, even when they weren’t being loud. The TV signal kept cutting out. The facilities weren’t as expected, and the pool shut at 7.30pm. The rooms weren’t cleaned during the day, and we got no fresh towels or blankets. I’ve stayed in many hotels in the Philippines, and this was easily the worst.
