The pool was a real treat, and we appreciated being able to extend checkout by a few hours for 800php. It gave us time to shower and relax before our evening flight. The airport shuttle was free, though the hotel is close enough to walk for backpackers. Service was excellent, and the laundry was well priced. Our room was spacious and clean. I can’t speak for every room, but ours needed a deeper clean around the mold in the shower, though it didn’t worry me. We’d been unsure about the hotel restaurant because of its reviews, but the food was actually quite good, and breakfast buffet was good too.

We had a nice stay before our long flight home. The hotel is very near the airport and offers free pickup and drop-off. Staff were friendly, and our room was large, clean, and spacious. There was plenty of hot water, and the pool was clean and big. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choices for lunch and dinner too.

We had a spacious, cozy room that was very clean, and the pool area was lovely. The staff were really friendly, and the New Year’s Eve party they put on was a lot of fun. One of the best hotels we stayed at in the Philippines. I’d book again :)

The staff made the stay for me. Everyone, from reception to the restaurant, was warm, kind, and ready to help. They clearly care about their guests, and I’m grateful to the whole team for their hospitality. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in the Philippines, with a fresh, varied selection. The french toast and waffles were especially good, and the chefs made eggs to order right in front of us, quickly and with a smile. The hotel bar’s cocktails were fresh, balanced, and nicely presented, a lovely choice after a day trip or before going out. Canvas Boutique Hotel was modern, comfortable, and very well managed. I felt looked after from arrival through departure, and would gladly return to Puerto Princesa. Highly recommended.

We had a huge room, and the water stain on the ceiling looked like a sunfish ❤️. The hotel is right beside the airport. Nice pool, great bar, and superb breakfast.
