At 380 pesos for a double fan room with a shared bathroom, this is the cheapest place in town. You get clean sheets, a fan, two outlets (one used by the fan), a table, hot water, packaged coffee, a towel, soap, and toilet paper. But the room stays really hot even with the fan, and ants and mosquitoes are your roommates. The street is noisy, staff are unfriendly, the electricity cuts out sometimes, and there’s no running water from 2am to noon. I only rated it this highly because of the price. It deserves much less.

The owner was really nice, which makes this a hard rating to give, but I have to be honest. I walked in and chose an air-conditioned room. When I was told it was ready, the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned, there was no toilet paper, and the bath bucket seemed to have something floating in the water. The back of the air conditioner is inside the bathroom, so the room gets very warm. There were way too many mosquitoes.

Nothing fancy, but it’s not expensive and was clean. The room had no furniture. There’s a freezer with drinks at reception, and the Wi-Fi was good. Fine for one or two nights.

It’s cheap but clean, and I spent one night here. The bed, shower, and internet were all there, so it was okay. Just don’t expect much.
