Las Residencias Bed And Breakfast

I was just walking by when they kindly offered me a room. For a super cheap rate, it had AC, a TV and a shower with a heater. They also included free breakfast. The staff and everyone else were super nice. It's a little far from the main road, but it's a nice place to stay and I'd surely come back.

I stayed there for around three months, and the small room I had came with an old mattress full of ants. I ended up buying a decent one with my own money. Then I was away for a little less than three years because of the pandemic. I had left a suitcase of clothes there, and when I came back yesterday everything inside was soaked, with water even leaking out of the luggage. They have a storage room and two other buildings nearby, but had left it outside under something that clearly didn't keep the water out. Manager Aba refused to take responsibility and blamed the bad weather. When I asked them to wash a T-shirt and pants, they said they were too busy. No responsibility at all for damage worth 300 or 400 dollars.

It feels like a clean, well-kept home away from home, with strong water pressure and a hot breakfast waiting in the morning. The caretaker was friendly, accommodating and very knowledgeable, and the neighbors were friendly too, giving the area a community feel. There are lots of trees around, and I even saw a palawan squirrel, what a feast! It's a hidden gem in a lush green spot, yet very close to Robinsons Place mall.

The breakfast was good, and the rooms were clean. The staff were nice too. Definitely worth what we paid.
