There’s a lot of character here, with a vintage filipiniana look throughout. The carved wood, woven wall pieces, seashell reliefs, paintings, photos, and even a taxidermied crocodile above the front desk make the shared spaces feel almost like a museum cafe, Palawan-style. Our room had plenty of luggage space and a small reading and breakfast nook facing the courtyard. The bed was super cushy, the shower pressure was great, and warm water stayed consistent. Wi-Fi worked well enough for streaming the whole time. The staff were cheerful and attentive, and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Guests can request use of the garden jaccuzzi, and the plants and trees look well cared for. The rooftop restaurant has an incredible view over the bay. It’s an easy walk to the baywalk, public market, the eco-store Lemon Tree along Rizal Avenue, and pharmacies, and only about 10 minutes by trike to the airport. If you happen to be there when their huge ylang-ylang tree is blooming, that’s a bonus. Other places may have more touristy amenities, but this place has SOUL. We had limited time in town, so didn't get to enjoy staying in as much as we'd have liked.

The team really made the stay special, with warm, genuine help and smooth communication throughout. I left my charger with the battery behind by accident, and they went out of their way to bring it to me at another location, making it easy and stress-free. The property itself is beautiful, and breakfast with those views was a fantastic way to start the day. Great quality in both the service and the people. Highly recommended.

The staff were lovely, and when our hot water stopped working, they tried to fix it. Since they couldn't, they kindly let us use another room to shower, which we appreciated. We had a nice stay at Puerto Pension Inn. The place is beautiful, with comfortable rooms, strong air conditioning, and a fan that's a real plus in the heat. There's a handy mini fridge, and the location is good, about a five-minute walk from the main bay area with its bars and restaurants, nice for an evening walk. Breakfast comes with the stay, but it's basic: bread, butter, jam, scrambled eggs, fruit, and instant coffee or tea. It does the job, though there isn't much choice.

The bed was extremely comfortable, and the staff were very accommodating. The rooms are fine for a short stay, with a rustic, tribal feel, and breakfast is simple. You can walk to the port and main town centre. Just know that Puerto Princesa town is pretty boring. I stayed two nights, and that was way too long.

Friendly, accommodating staff and lots of cool, really good restaurants nearby. The place was clean, quiet and comfortable, a little oasis within walking distance of the harbour. I'd definitely stay again.
