Tenzai Homestay By Zuzu

The rooms were comfortable to return to after a day out, and getting to and from Tenzai Homestay Palawan was easy because it's near the road. I also liked the quiet, secure setting and the clean bedding. The property has a quaint, homely feel, and the staff were polite and quick to help. Complimentary coffee was a nice start to the morning, while free water and a designated smoking area were useful little touches. I found it very good value and would recommend it for a comfortable, convenient stay in the area. #TenzaiHomestayPalawan #ExceptionalValue #HomeAwayFromHome #pepingtravels

The air conditioner was a bit noisy and didn't cool very strongly, which was the only downside for us. The staff were kind and very accommodating, and the location near the airport was really convenient.

There's a little kitchen and food available, with friendly staff around 24/7. The common area is well kept, the rooms feel secure, and the hot and cold shower, AC and fan were all useful. Tenzai may be a tiny pension house, but the service is generous and the staff make it feel comfortable and homey. It's not very pricey, and it's close to both town and the airport. WiFi, coffee, and a quiet spot for reading or dining are there too. Well recommended for a stop in Puerto Princesa.

The one snag was finding Tenzai after dark. Google Maps showed it on the main road, but it's actually about 100 feet down a small driveway from the pinned spot. Once there, we found clean rooms, friendly staff, and a super cozy place. We slept really well after traveling from El Nido. A relaxing stop before or after trekking in Northern Palawan.
