I was exhausted after a 3am boat ride from Camiguin, stranded due to TS Basyang, then rushing to Laguindingan airport for the 7.20am flight to Mla. The staff were wonderful and accommodating, and let me check in early. The hotel was very close to my appointment, and the February promo package included a small gym, complimentary buffet breakfast, a welcome drink, and a free massage. The AC in rm.3001, including the outdoor unit, made a whistling and whirring noise. Hope they address it.

The room smelled bad, and the price didn’t feel worth it. We checked in at 4am and were trying to sleep when someone from the “Housekeeping Crew” opened our door at 9am without calling first. We’re not even sure they were really housekeeping. Luckily, we’d double locked it from the inside, so they couldn’t get in. Your privacy and security are at risk. Better find another place nearby.

After eight years away, coming back to our home country and getting this kind of service was disappointing and embarrassing. The staff were unprofessional, the hallways had no air conditioning, and the towels and sheets were torn. Housekeeping requests were ignored, and the daily rate was far too high for the poor condition of the facilities. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BRENTWOOD SUITES.

The rooms were comfortable, clean, and relaxing, and the modern feel still came across as homey. Staff were courteous and ready to help, which made the stay better. Brentwood Suites was a pleasant place to stay.

Service gets 4/5 because they were understaffed. Leave plenty of time when checking out, around 45 minutes to an hour before booking a Grab car.
