Fernandina 88 Suites Residences

My friend is staying there, and it’s not the best accommodation. The location is handy, though, with three malls nearby and Ali Mall right across the street.

This cozy hotel has held its place in Cubao as taller buildings have gone up around it. It was once a posh spot, and stars have stayed there. A good starting point for exploring the metro.

We had a great staycation, and the staff were especially friendly and helpful. The room felt clean and homey. The location is convenient too, with malls, banks, convenience stores and plenty of other places just around the corner. Wifi and Netflix both had a strong signal. Two thumbs up!

We spent 3 days and 2 nights here for a friend’s birthday and booked a 3 bedroom suite on the 11th floor. For a budget 3 star hotel, the price felt fair, and the location and friendly staff were good points. The building seems old, maybe from the 80’s or 90’s, though the spacious rooms look relatively new. The suite had a master bedroom with its own bathroom and videt, plus two more rooms with two single beds each. There was another bathroom off the living room with hot water but no videt. In the kitchen were an old refrigerator, electric kettle and induction stove. We asked for extra plates and cutleries, and staff brought them up quickly. Many staff are OJT’s and were friendly. There’s also a pool on the 12th floor. Amenities are a bit limited, so bring what you’ll need. Still, I thought our stay was worth the cost and would recommend it to anyone trying to save money without giving up comfort.
