This was a terrible stay for tourists or families. The room had poor air conditioning, toiletries, water pressure, and lighting. The bathroom sink smelled bad and was clogged, the sheets and pillowcase were dirty, and there was no internet or TV. For a budget option, I’d recommend Sogol Hotel instead. It’s a comfortable way to save money.

The room cost me more than 1,900.00+, even though I booked it for 1,400.00+. The towels were very old and almost grey, and the bedding and pillows were the same. The room was warm when I arrived and took a long time to cool down. When I called reception for the Wi-Fi password, a room boy brought me a small slip of paper. Later I asked for toiletries and got two little sachets of soap and shampoo, but no toilet roll. I asked again for toilet paper, and nothing came before we checked out. Not recommended for tourists.

We needed somewhere to stay, so we checked in even though there was no welcome, the floor was wet, the smell was unpleasant, and the place didn’t feel inviting. The room had no heater, the air conditioner was loud, and the bedsheet and blanket were stained. They gave us one towel for two people. I called three times for another and had to get angry before they brought one. There were bugs that bit me, and I woke up itchy. I’ll never recommend this place or come back.

The rooms were clean and well organized. It also worked well for us while waiting for an expected visitor: unlike other hotels, they weren’t strict about that. We paid 1400 overnight, and all four of us were allowed to sleep in one room without restrictions or extra fees.

The room problems were bad enough, but the way my mother and I were treated made this stay miserable. We arrived from Manila Airport in Quezon City exhausted around 5 or 6 a.m. on December 7th and booked two nights, with checkout on December 9th. On December 8th, while we were half asleep, the front desk called and rudely told us to check out immediately. They hadn’t checked the records or confirmed the booking. Their staff had written the wrong date on our receipt, and we trusted the call, panicked, and packed while barely conscious. We dragged three huge suitcases out, booked another hotel at the last minute, paid for a non-refundable room and early check-in, all because they got the date wrong. Only when we reached the front desk did the receptionist admit the mistake. She had already checked us out before speaking to us, and initially tried to charge us for overstaying. We asked for a refund for the night we were forced out of, but they cited their no-refund policy. After we escalated it, they gave us only half, 870 pesos, saying the hotel had no cash on hand. They told us they would take the money from the employee who made the mistake. That’s their idea of management. Calling the front desk was also nearly impossible. I tried four or five times and nobody answered, though they had no trouble calling us to kick us out. The rooms were dirty too. The first reeked of cigarettes and alcohol, with ashes on the table and a smell that lingered for hours. Its duvet had no cover, so I had to put it on myself. In the second room, the bidet barely worked, going from a weak trickle to nothing; there was no hot water or tissue, and the duvet had a blood stain. The pillows had stains that looked like mold or dirt, and the sheets weren’t even close to white. We couldn’t find the TV remote. They only gave us one towel unless we kept asking, and even then they’d forget. I also saw another guest complain about confusing prices and inconsistent charges on the first day. I should have taken that as a warning. This place is dirty and unprofessional, and it feels like nobody is really working there. Save yourself the stress and stay somewhere else. One star is generous.
