The place was barely livable. The bed was so short that anyone over 6' wouldn't fit, and it had a very thin, uncomfortable mattress. There were only old sheets, with no cover. The dark brown furniture was dirty, and roaches were crawling around. The TV didn't work, the kitchen had just a few dirty pots and dishes, and there was no hot water, just enough to tart.
