West Avenue Suites

I booked three rooms here, and the stay fell well short of what I expected. The rooms weren’t clean: there was loose hair on the bathroom floor and visible soap scum on a shower door. The hairdryer didn’t work properly, and the advertised Wi-Fi was unreliable. Access seemed limited to floors 12 through 16. When we complained, the reception staff didn’t respond. We also saw an unprofessional argument between a receptionist and a cleaner. There were no complimentary drinks either, which added to the disappointment. I won’t be back! 😡

The location was great, but there were several problems. Wi-Fi didn’t work anywhere on my floor, and the water was off for about an hour, I think. The elevators were slow because of maintenance. Room service and baggage staff were lacking.

West Avenue Suites is in a lively part of Quezon City and makes a comfortable, convenient base for visiting the area. I stayed here in 2019 and it wasn’t this bad then. I won’t stay again. It feels like management only cares about money. As soon as we entered the room, it smelled like piss. The sheets were dirty, the beds were uncomfortable, and when we took the sheets off, the beds smelled like they’d been pissed on. Floors and sheets had stains and blood, and it seemed like they didn’t clean things used by previous guests. The towels were dirty and smelled gross. The Wi-Fi sucked, and the air conditioner only responded to the on/off button. It was set to 16, so we had to keep turning it off and on when the room got too cold. The outlets also seemed like they could give you an electric shock. Never stay here.
