Hotel 99 Cubao Quezon City

I wasn’t comfortable during my stay, and there was a lot of hair shedding around the room. My experience here wasn’t very good.

We booked a three-hour stay. It cost more than nearby hotels, and there weren’t many toiletries, just soap and towels. The beds have a leather covering under the regular sheets, which was nice. The air-conditioning worked perfectly, even in the lobbies.

I booked the 24-hour stay because there was no electricity at my place and no vacancies at the other nearby hotels. I came hoping to relax, but couldn’t get the peace I wanted. Noise from outside came right through the room, and the attendants were laughing loudly while cleaning other guests’ rooms, which really annoyed me. There were small cockroaches on top of the bedsheet when I entered, and the sheet had hair on it, maybe from previous guests. It felt very unhygienic. The pillows smelled a bit, and you have to pay if you request extra blankets and things like that. The AC, TV, and Wi-Fi were fine, but I wouldn’t recommend this place if you want quiet and a chance to relax.

The staff were accommodating, which I appreciated. The place is okay if you just need somewhere cheaper to spend the night, but don't expect a comfortable room. There were lots of cockroaches, the bathroom wasn't clean, the bed wasn't comfortable enough, and the aircon was really noisy.
