OYO 117 Rochelle Apartelle

We found this place when we needed rooms for staff. The rates are very affordable, with discounts for stays over a week. Rooms are basic, with AC, a heater, cable TV, and a comfy bed. Don't expect to find much beyond those essentials. There are four floors and no elevator, so you'll need to carry your luggage upstairs.

I booked through the OYO app and paid 500 pesos for an early check-in. There were no towels in the room, and none were available at reception, so we had to wait for a delivery. The blanket looked dirty, with stains and hair, as if it hadn't been replaced after the previous guest. One staff member was very welcoming, the plus-size girl with long hair.

The fast WiFi was a plus. For a quick, cheap place to stay, this is decent, but don't come expecting comfort or luxury. The room is tiny, cables stick out of the walls, and the makeshift bedcover barely reaches across the mattress. There aren't any food options.

Room 28 had no working AC. I set it to the coldest temperature, but no cold air came out. The 499-peso rate was for three hours and included one shampoo and one towel, but no toothpaste.
