North Pointe Residences Manila

The room was so noisy, with the highways right across from it and construction ongoing at the North Avenue MRT Stations. I was disappointed, especially given the QC location near malls.

My family and I booked two rooms, and one felt almost abandoned, with hardly any furniture compared with the other. There were spiders in one of the toilets, and it didn’t look clean. The room should’ve been cleaned before check-in, and the toilet needs some improvement too. At night, the lobby had no aircon, which made the hotel feel very low-budget. Some of the staff weren’t very kind or patient when showing us how to lock the door. The locks were really hard and complicated to open or close, they need new door knobs. It’s not a five-star hotel, but I guess it could be affordable for students or anyone on a tight budget looking for a few nights.

The staff were friendly and the location was quiet, but the room fell short for the price. The bed linen, blanket, and bath towels were old, yellowing, and very thin from too much use. There was no toilet tissue, so we had to ask for it, and the room didn’t even have a holder. No trash bin either. Small ants were crawling around. There was no fridge, kettle, cups, or complimentary coffee. I wouldn’t come back.

We found small cockroaches, a broken deadbolt, and an unsafe electrical panel as soon as we entered. We didn’t even attempt to stay the night and immediately requested a refund.
