We paid 20k for one night, which included six spacious rooms. The size and layout suit big groups and private get-togethers or parties. It seems the property used to be a school before being turned into a hotel or resort. The space is functional and roomy, but the maintenance and finish may disappoint anyone who cares a lot about looks and cleanliness. In the main room, the ceiling paint was peeling and breaking down, and bits fell into the room, so we had to keep our food covered. It could work for a large group looking for space at an affordable price, as long as expectations about upkeep and finish are kept in check.

The shower heater wasn't working, and they cut the WiFi, which was really rude. They were also very strict with the people renting the place, having their staff walk around while we were using it. We had to pay for a mic that was badly damaged, so check it before using it. The owner seemed desperate to fool people and instructed the staff. Don't blame the staff, blame the owner who checks the CCTV. I also checked their other mic, which was in the same condition as the one we paid for, despite the story they made up.

For a seasoned traveler, Micheals place is a great Manila stay. The rooms are clean, there's a TV and a pool, and the staff are helpful. It feels like an upscale stay for a low price. I recommend it and keep coming back whenever we're in the city.

The staff were wonderful, especially manager ma'am karen, who was so friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and really comfortable. I'd call this a great hotel.
