JuRiSu Resort

We were only a 3-5 minute walk from the long beach, and Jurisu Resort was our home for seven days. Everyone made sure we felt at home and had what we needed for our retreat. The meals were tailored to our needs and made vegetarian; Ate Ruby cooked delicious food. Ms Maya handled the logistics and supported us even before we arrived, while Kuya Boy and Ate Inday were always there to help. Ms Shiela, thanks for securing our booking and buying banig for us. The rooms are basic, with no fridge or TV. The shower was very hot and had no pressure. It’s near Long Beach, though sand flies mean you can’t stay on the beach.

It’s good value for money, with cool AC and water heaters that work. The staff are friendly and easy to approach, and Long Beach is just a three-minute walk away.

Boy and Ruby and their family looked after every need during my four nights at Jurisu, including laundry and helpful local advice. One night they even fetched more beer for me. The beds were very comfortable, rooms clean, and amenities and aircon were good. The gardens and surroundings are nice, and the open dining area serves a simple, delicious menu with something for everyone. It’s not five-star, but it’s a bargain and has all you need. Long beach is a short walk away, with the property close enough to town but still private and quiet, especially by the beach. Rent a car or good motorbike to explore the beautiful coastline north, it’s fantastic. A great stay with lovely people in a beautiful part of Ph. Thanks, Ross.
