For the price, I expected better comfort and amenities, at least a heater. The room felt a bit dirty, which was hard for me because I have allergies. The walls are thin enough that doors, neighbors and noise from the nearby school or gym carry right into the room. It made it hard to relax, and at times it felt like the people next door were in the same room. The place looks nice, and the girls on staff gave great service. But beyond that, I don’t think it’s worth the cost. It may look good on Instagram, but the comfort and value didn’t match what I paid. Honestly, with that quality I’d rather stay in a backpackers hostel.

Simple but tasty breakfast, and they even let us leave our bags after checkout, then shower and use the bathrooms. The place is comfortable, with everything we needed, and close to everything. There’s no air conditioning, just a fan.

The courtyard was lovely, with a spot to sit and eat breakfast overlooking it. My room was clean and comfortable, and the location was great. The owner and staff did everything they could to make my stay memorable. I’d stay there again when I’m in Port Barton.

The rooms were clean, the atmosphere was really nice, and breakfast was good. Staff were helpful, and it’s close to the beach and restaurants, with good value for money. The communal area also has good Wi-Fi and would otherwise be a decent place to work. But the hotel is right next to a stadium, and the noise ruined my stay. Music, commentators on megaphones and whistles carried on every afternoon and into the night, past 11 pm. It’s not the hotel’s fault, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re an early sleeper or need to work remotely during the day. It’s loud for 18 hours a day, which is such a shame.

It was cheap, but our room was dirty. There was a lot of hair in the shower and plenty more on the floor.
