Breakfast was delicious, with a beautiful view toward the sea. We loved the excellent service and the interesting conversations with our authentic, loving hosts. The place was simple but incredibly homey. Thanks again for a memorable stay.

The view was lovely and the hosts were lovely too. We had a fantastic stay in Port Barton, and didn't expect this much for such an affordable price.

The owners live upstairs, and there aren't many rooms. They welcomed us like family, and we had a great time in this quiet, homey place close to town. Nothing fancy, but it has the best view in town.

The German owner is portly with a white beard, which is why people call him Santa Claus. We stayed in the main house, though there are guest cottages as well. It felt like staying with your uncle. It's not especially luxurious, but the pleasant owner and his charming Filipino wife more than make up for that, and she cooks a great breakfast. They don't serve dinner, so head to the nearby Mojito bar. It's really excellent, but take a torch!

The owners made us feel so welcome, even inviting us up to their balcony for drinks. That’s also where they serve the free five-star breakfast. The room was the best we stayed in anywhere in the Philippines, after trying hotels, hostels, and Airbnbs all over the country. It was spotless and fresh, with a large ensuite bathroom and a separate hot shower.
