The new A-frame house is so quiet, clean, and lovely that we’re still here and enjoying it. It has a full kitchen and private patio, and costs 3500 per night. We took it right away. It’s a short drive into town, and I recommend it completely. Finding a really nice place to stay in Sagada is hard. We’d come here after being unable to sleep in town, where dogs barked all night and roosters crowed all morning. They initially said they had one room for one night, but when I explained we needed several days, she showed us the new house.

Great place and worth the money. Please get the yogurt, it’s our number one must-try in Sagada. Misty Yogurt came second for us.

The service was very poor and the staff weren’t accommodating. After our long van trip, some of us urgently needed a restroom when we arrived, but staff gestured and even shouted for us to get back into the van and wait. They then passed us on informally to the next pension house because they couldn’t accommodate us. The handoff was haphazard: they didn’t pass along the rooming list or give us any information.

For the area, the room was better than I expected. We didn’t use the shower, though an electric water heater was installed. We stayed in January in a third-floor room, and nights can get cold then, so I’d suggest bringing an extra blanket.
