Aloha Seaside Resort

The resort is clean, but the AC problem, rude service, and how we were treated ruined what should have been a relaxing trip. My girlfriend and I booked a 4D3N stay through Agoda. They let us check in about three hours early, which was the only good start. The room stayed hot the whole time. Within the first hour, we noticed the AC wasn't getting cold. We waited in case it needed time, but we were sweating and nothing changed. Someone checked it after we reported it, but it wasn't fixed and no solution was offered. There was no fan and no room change. The shower's hot water shuts off automatically after a short time, making it hard to use properly. The resort is right beside a road, and our room was very close to it, so we heard vehicles passing. Some rooms may be farther away, but consider that if you're sensitive to noise. Most staff we dealt with were rude, unwelcoming, and seemed annoyed when we asked for help. My girlfriend got really sick on our first day, so we spent most of our time at the resort. One staff member kindly brought me a thicker blanket, the only genuinely nice interaction we had. Later I asked for a basin to wipe my girlfriend down and got raised eyebrows, attitude, and a very rude tone. It felt like we were bothering them over something basic. We also noticed staff warmly greeting foreign guests, smiling and helping them right away, while their response to us as Filipino guests was cold, dismissive, and sometimes outright rude. It felt like guests were treated differently based on whether they were foreigners or Filipino. If you're Filipino and planning to stay here, I'd seriously think twice. Foreign guests will probably have a very different experience.
