BESM Traveler's Inn

A reasonable place for travellers who mainly need somewhere to rest. The rooms have air conditioning and a TV, the staff are friendly, and the food is nice for the price. The downsides are that there aren’t enough power outlets, many menu items aren’t available, and there’s no hot shower.

The free breakfast was sumptuous, and you can also ask them to cook food of your choice. The rooms and the place were clean, with affordable rates, and all the staff were friendly and accommodating. You can relax at night or early in the morning by using the swimming pool. Five stars from me for BESM travellers.

I found this place after getting caught in bumper-to-bumper traffic on my way to Sogo in Cabanatuan, which had been my first choice for an overnight stay in Gapan. I turned back and came across this inn instead. It’s about 300 metres off the main road, near the Mini Stop Convenience Store, and was 20% cheaper than Sogo when I stayed: 698Php for 12 hours or 1500Php for 24 hours. Our room was clean and had cable TV, but no hot water. They have beer and all-day breakfast. A swimming pool is available if you book the bigger room and a 24 hour stay. I liked it better than any Sogo hotel I’ve stayed at, and I’ll definitely return on my next Gapan visit. Keep up the good work.

The indoor pool is the main attraction, really fantastic! The place itself is basic but nice. Breakfast comes with iced tea, though you can get 3in1 too. The Wi-Fi is weak in the rooms. A pleasant place if, like us, you’re planning to visit Minalungao.
