Breakfast came with the stay, and there’s an in-house restaurant if you’d rather eat on site. I found the room clean and decent for my one night, with a hot shower, though the blanket was a little thin. Sampaloc Lake and several places to eat are close by, which made the location really convenient.

The lake view is the main attraction, and it’s lovely from most rooms. For the price, having a king and a double bed in one spacious room feels like good value. The rooms are dated and the TVs are small; the bathroom also felt a bit dingy, and there was no hot water. WiFi was surprisingly quick. Breakfast is included and was decent, if unremarkable.

The lake and mountain views from the rooms were amazing, and we really enjoyed the breakfast too. Everything was clean, and the staff always greeted us and checked whether we needed anything. We had a pleasant stay and will definitely come back! ♥️

The staff were friendly and the lakeside location is good, close to downtown, but our weeklong stay in November 2024 was a big disappointment. My wife and I had stayed at Ang Tahanan before and I’d reviewed it very positively. After this visit, I can’t recommend it anymore. Our first toilet stopped working, so we changed rooms, but the next one wasn’t much better. The rooms were shabby and the bathrooms had mold. The whole interior needs a major renovation, including new plumbing and electrical work. We’ll take this hotel off our list for future trips.

The scenery around the lake is lovely, and we all felt relaxed here. It’s a quiet, beautiful place in a good location. Our room was clean, air-conditioned and had hot water. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was free. I’d love to come back.
