The room and CR felt old, and the accommodation’s light materials let outside sounds carry in. Bars nearby also made the area loud. When I reported an issue with my belongings, the staff didn’t show much concern and refused to let me see the CCTV footage. They argued with me instead of helping, and seemed more concerned with protecting their image. The employee I spoke with was unprofessional and disrespectful. It was a very disappointing stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values safety and proper guest service.

We spent six days here. The staff were lovely, attentive, and had a great attitude. Check-in was around 1:30pm, and WiFi was available at the check-in counter. Our room was quite small for two girls, with too few hooks and shelves and no side table on the other side of the bed, so we struggled to put our things away. The location was convenient without being too close to the crowded spots. There’s a Rum bar outside, though, and its weekend parties were loud enough to make sleeping difficult. In the morning, bikes and trikes on the nearby road added noise around 6-7am. The AC was cold enough and the water pressure was good. The room and staff treated us well :))

Aira gave excellent customer service, and the location is perfect. But outside noise comes through the rooms, which are made with light materials. In Rm. 01, the water heater plug is loose, so you have to climb onto a chair to plug it back in. This problem has come up in other reviews, but the hostel owner still hasn’t fixed it.

The atmosphere was really nice, and it’s close to popular spots and restaurants. The room was very good, and the staff were friendly.

We stayed four nights, and the staff made us feel welcome with how friendly and helpful they were. The rooms were clean, spacious, and cosy. The bathroom was on the small side, but still perfectly fine. We also rented a motorbike through the hostel for 400 pesos a day, which worked out great. I’d highly recommend staying here in Siquijor.
