Anaya Beach Resort

The food was the one letdown, quite expensive for the portions and selection, though the complimentary breakfast was good. The resort itself was lovely for relaxing, with a beautiful beach view and a convenient location near the port that made travel easy. Staff were consistently courteous and accommodating.

We’d planned to stay eight days but left early over issues that may seem simple but matter a lot to guests. The staff lacked basic courtesy when dealing with us. Our room wasn’t cleaned every day, and when we asked about it, they asked whether we were checking out. Why should we have to ask in the first place, and why answer that way? We’d originally booked a different room, and the receptionist confirmed it. When it was time to move, she said she’d confirmed a different room instead. She never apologized or acknowledged the mix-up.

I booked a room for February 13, 2026 through agoda.com. When I arrived, I was told the resort was overbooked and sent away to find somewhere else to stay. They’re refusing to return my money. Shame on agoda and anaya beach resort.

Loved this affordable beachfront resort in Santa Fe, even though we only stayed two days. It’s the best value on the beach. Would stay again, but it was fully booked.
