Miami Heat Beach Resort

Getting there was really difficult, and the rooms were awful. There was no TV, just a cable hanging out of the wall. Tissue had been stuffed around the gaps by the AC unit. The bathroom had rough plastic outdoor faucets and no toilet seats. I could keep listing problems, but you get the idea. At ₽5000 a night, roughly $100, this place isn't worth it. The website photos must be from the grand opening, because they clearly haven't been updated.

The resort's a bit old and has a lot of stairs. We were a family with young kids, but got a second-floor room, so carrying the stroller up and down was a hassle. There is enough seafront space for team-building activities, though, so it could work well for that. For what they offer, the price feels high. The road in is rough and narrow, with room for only one vehicle to pass at a time. Food choices are limited and the quality wasn't great. I'd bring food and cook, but check with management about corkage fees. We had a deluxe room, though there wasn't much deluxe about it. The TV didn't work, there was no bedside table, and power outlets were limited. The toilet area was cramped, but at least shampoo and soap were provided.

The Wi-Fi barely reached our room, and the food was only average for its price. We had no floor mats, weak shower pressure, and the blankets were just like the bed linens, so they didn't keep us warm. The outlets in our room didn't work either, which made charging phones difficult when everyone needed to.

The rooms didn't have free coffee or a hair dryer, and the blankets were too small. Staff seemed poorly trained, and there was no Wi-Fi access. Parking was a long way off, and the surroundings were dirty. They didn't provide table napkins, and food came on plastic plates. It would help to have a private dining space for guests who want to avoid the noise. For the facilities and service, it just wasn't worth the money.
