A strong shower would've made this room better, though the water pressure elsewhere was great. The room smelled dusty and moldy, which could be a real issue if you're sensitive to that. The beach is easily reached just one block away, and the town center with restaurants and bars is walkable too. Rates are cheap outside peak season. They offer a 100 peso breakfast platter without drinks, and bottled water is available at the front desk.

La Briana cancelled our booking the night before the trip, after I'd booked months ahead to get a good rate. I was furious. I had to look for somewhere else just hours before leaving, when there were barely any options left. We go to Bantayan every Holy Week, and nothing like this has happened to us before. If zero stars were possible, that's what I'd give. Never again!

The room itself is nice, but there was no soap, shampoo, hot shower, or tissue when we needed it. We asked the front desk for tissue and got some. The staff were just okay. Wifi is there, but you have to contact the owner to get access. We texted and nobody replied, so it was useless.

It's quiet here and only a minute's walk to the beach. Our room had a queen bed and a personal refrigerator, but the pillows were too thin and soft. There's no hot and cold shower or bidet. Security also felt lacking, since the room door only had a doorknob.

The place is close to the beach, and both the shower and aircon worked fine. I hope they improve the wifi, but we still had a perfect stay. I'd choose this place again when we return.
