Madie's Place Guest House

Our kid loved running around the garden, especially at night when it looked extra special. Some parts of the hotel could use more TLC, but she didn't mind and had a great time, which made the visit worth it for us. Madie's had been on our list of places in the south for a while, though it took us some time to visit. We usually look for a pool or playground for our kid, ideally both. Given the current situation, having neither might actually be better for health and safety. The photos in the album give a pretty good idea of what to expect.

What stayed with me most were the evenings on the front porch with the owners, talking for hours, joking, and hearing interesting things about Philippines. The atmosphere and the people are fantastic, and they make you feel right at home. I really grew to love Madie's Place for what it is. Just remember it's a B&B, not a big fancy hotel. The rooms aren't large, the comfort rooms are separate and can feel a little awkward, and there isn't a pool or gym. But you get so much in return. Give it a try and you may love it too.

This place feels like the kind of home we've always dreamed of. We love the style, and the owner is very friendly. They welcome you with free barako coffee and cookies, and kids are allowed right now. It feels like home, and I'd highly recommend it, especially for an intimate wedding during this pandemic.

After a full day at Enchanted Kingdom, this was a peaceful place to come back to. It’s tucked inside a subdivision, with a bathroom for each room on the ground floor and parking both inside and outside. They even offer free coffee, and it was delicious.
