Southseas Beach Resort and Dive Center

The calm, welcoming atmosphere made this stay at SouthSeas absolutely wonderful. It's a small, family-run boutique resort with a lovely garden and pool, and the rooms are neat, clean, and comfortable. You can relax, explore, eat, or dive here, and there are kayaks and snorkeling gear to use for free from the beach. Meals are cooked fresh to order, and the food is delicious: simple homemade Filipino dishes alongside some international options. You can place your order ahead and choose a breakfast, lunch, or dinner time, or order when you sit down and wait while they cook it. Prices for food felt very fair compared with other places nearby. The staff tailor the service to what you need, whether that's excursions, dives, or meals. Diving and excursions cost about the usual market rates, but the attention from staff during activities is incomparable. I'd recommend the place to friends and family. Ben deserves a special mention for arranging an unforgettable whale shark watching trip in Oslob. It was all organized smoothly, and we didn't have to queue. Following his suggestion, we also went to a resort on a small island, which became one of the trip's highlights. They arranged our transfer to Cebu airport too, so departure was stress-free. The resort itself was fantastic, from the accommodation and service to the beautiful surroundings and relaxing atmosphere. Food was fresh, varied, and excellent, and the staff were very kind and helpful. We could use scooters to explore the area, which made the stay even better. Tamara and Vedran would gladly return and recommend it.

Spent four days here on a diving holiday with whale sharks, and I'd definitely come back next season. Do the whale shark dive rather than just snorkeling, you'll enjoy it more. The staff and boss were super nice, the place is calm and cozy, and the resort grounds aren't huge. The pool is a bit small, but I prefer swimming at the beach. Diving facilities and the DM were good too.

The place was relaxing, the food was good, and the staff were accommodating. I brought my plug-in hybrid car, and they let us charge it using our extension wire.
