Affordable Tagaytay Monteluce 2 bedrooms LOFT with POOL 82

We were really glad to discover Monteluce. The rooms are spacious and fairly priced, and there's a pool and playground the kids will enjoy. It works for a staycation or as one of the places to visit in Tagaytay.

We spent about 3D2N here with friends. The pool was easy to access and got cleaned early enough for a morning swim. Parking was roomy, though the open lot meant the cars got very hot in the daytime. Wi-Fi was okay, but Zoom was only at 240p, probably because five of us were sharing it along with other tenants. The open area between the buildings smelled like bird poo. 🐢 There was also a somewhat abandoned-looking building next door that felt eerie, so we tried a little courage test there. It was awesome.

If you booked through Booking or a similar site, be aware that the place seems poorly maintained. The apartment wasn't clean and was missing basics like hand soap, toilet paper, and bed sheets. Many of the features advertised on Booking weren't there.

OFWs planning to rent for two months or longer, watch out. They charged us an exorbitant amount for electricity and water: a little over ₱13,000 for July 15- August 15,2022. We only ran the air con at night, didn't wash clothes in the unit, and were out almost every day supervising construction on our nearby house. Our cousin has a two-bedroom condo at Rockwell with two air cons used daily, and pays only ₱5000 a month. We're gathering evidence and plan to take action before we leave. For reference, we're renting Unit 317, Mondavi 2.
