The place was clean and spacious, with the basic things a home needs, and the wiring was fine. But the TV wouldn’t get a signal until we fixed its wire ourselves. We just wanted to rest and watch a show, so that spoiled the plan and kept this at three stars instead of four. If you know a TV has a problem, replace it or give us another room. It’s also a bit far from the main road, and there’s no shade to shelter you from the sun.

The reality was nothing like the advertisement. We had to complain twice before getting a decent room, and even that one was still dirty. None of the rooms had been cleaned after the previous guests: all three bathrooms still had used soap, and there were used toothbrushes next to the eating plates. Unacceptable. During our 12-night stay, they weren’t planning to clean the room or change the sheets and towels. We’d have had to pay extra for that. We even had to ask for a new garbage bag. The internet was slow mobile Wi-Fi for two days, and after that we had to provide the data ourselves, so there was no free fast Wi-Fi. You can rent the same condo from private owners for a lot less. It wasn’t worth the money. We previously stayed in a 3-star hotel in central Manila for less, with breakfast, and it was definitely nicer. I complained to the head office twice, but they’re in another country, so it wasn’t easy. Never again at this condo.

If you want somewhere quiet, this might suit you, but the service was really bad. We stayed 12 nights and they cleaned our room only twice. There were no fresh sheets or clean towels each day, and when we asked for those or for daily cleaning, they said it would cost extra, which is the opposite of what the ZEN WEBSITE says. Wi-Fi wasn’t free either, so we had to provide our own. My fiancee and I weren’t happy with the service. At least they could clean. The first room was very dirty, with a dead lizard on the cabinet. There was also a pair of shoes left there. The second room was still dirty, with the previous guests’ things still inside. The third was a little better, but had lots of laundry things.

The entrance gate guard was polite, but the building guard was very rude. He shouted from the other side of the building, “Do not come in!” because no one was at the podium. He should stand at his post and speak politely and professionally.
