Diamond De Siquijor Beach House

The food is very costly, and the place feels more like a cottage than a hotel. The bathroom smelled bad and had no toiletries, while the bedding and towels weren’t good. The windows and air conditioner were dusty. Of the three senior citizens who checked in, only one got a discount, and there was no senior discount on food. They also charge corkage for bringing food or using a hair dryer or hair iron. This place is disgusting and inconvenient for a vacation. NOT RECOMMENDABLE. Never again!

There’s a piggery nearby, and the bad smell was disturbing. I didn’t find the lady owner approachable, and I don’t think the accommodation was good.

The family owners made us feel at home from the minute we arrived until we left. They were so hospitable and went above and beyond, treating guests more like friends. The family bar and eating area had great service, too. Our cabin was by the beach, right by the highway, and the place is about a 10 minute walk from Siquijor Port. It’s a beautiful spot to get away from everything. Would I come back? Too right, I loved it. I hope to return for my birthday in July. Thanks to Arlie, family, and staff for a great vacation.

The staff were polite and very helpful, and we would have given four out of five stars otherwise. But the dining area was noisy, with kids running around, screaming, playing, and especially using their mobiles. We moved to the garden to get away from the disturbance. There were four blackouts in 24 hours, which hadn’t been mentioned, and the Wi-Fi signal was very poor. We wouldn’t come back because of the noise and disruption.
