From our first contact, the owner of Gal’s Guesthouse came across as someone who truly cares about guests. She's kind, helpful, open to questions and advice, and always smiling. Her warmth gives the place a homely feel, more like staying with friends than at a typical guesthouse. It's definitely somewhere I'd come back to.

We had a spacious room, a hot shower, and a quiet, peaceful stay. They rent motorbikes, which makes it easy to get around wherever you want. I'd recommend renting one, since getting around by tricycle can be a bit of a challenge. The hosts looked after us well overall.

Gal is such a kind, gracious host and kept checking that we had eaten, had a ride, and were enjoying ourselves. Gal's Guesthouse felt more like home than anywhere else in Siquijor, and it was so affordable. The fridge had mineral water, sodas, juices, and beers, plus there were instant foods like noodles, chips, and 3 in 1 coffee. If we were too tired to drive to a nearby restaurant, Gal would gladly make grilled fish or cook rice for us. She was always ready to help and be a friend, and never seemed focused on the money. She even let us pay when we were ready. Two thumbs up, I rate this place 1000% as the best in Siquijor!

We felt safe here, and it's only a ten-minute walk from the main road. We rented a motorbike on site to explore, with Paliton beach in San Juan just a short ride away. The place was spacious and clean, and the kitchen had what we needed to cook. Our host was so kind and accommodating, even giving us a free ride to the Siquijor pier. I'd definitely stay again!

Mommy Luz, the owner, made us feel very welcome and was accommodating. The home was well looked after, and we felt completely safe staying inside the guesthouse, with no strange or unpleasant feelings at all.
