Sablayan Paraiso Beach Resort

The family running this resort made the stay feel warm and personal, treating guests like their own, and their pets added to that friendly atmosphere. I spent two wonderful weeks here and would happily come back. It’s set in a quiet coconut forest, with the beach right there and beautiful sunsets. A great spot if you’re after nature and peace. The staff were incredible. The kitchen team made delicious meals, and housekeeping took such care with the details. Whenever I asked to have my room cleaned, everything was spotless and neatly arranged.

The meals were one of the best parts of our time in the Philippines. Everything we ordered was so delicious, and we always wanted more. The people running the place were amazing too, and I hope we can return someday. We couldn’t have asked for better accommodation on Mindoro island. It’s a bit far from the city center, though that wasn’t a problem for us. You can enjoy a nice walk along the beach or take a boat across the river.

The owners are really kind and helpful, and the restaurant serves delicious food at reasonable prices. It’s a quiet area by a lovely beach, and the bungalows are clean, comfortable, and feel safe. Everything is well organized. It was the best place to stop before diving in Apo Reef. I also managed to finish my journey to Catitlan in one day, though I got a bit lucky. If I’m back in the area, I’ll definitely book here again.
